Pérez Art Museum Miami

Now through June 16th, visit PAMM’s Fresh Air/Fresh Art exhibition in Maurice A. Ferré Park right outside the museum’s doors. The three-month installation brings 19 pieces from PAMM’s modern and contemporary art collection to the heart of downtown Miami. Free and open to the public, the exhibition features replicas by the likes of José Bedia, Ed Clark, Morris Louis, Wangechi Mutu, Beatriz Milhazes, Christina Pettersson, and Sandra Ramos, and others--all to be enjoyed while taking a pleasant stroll through the neighborhood park. Frost Science Museum

The Frost Science Museum is a great interactive spot to dig in and learn more about all things science. Divided across four buildings, including an Aquarium and Planetarium, discover the core science behind living systems, the solar system and known universe, the physics of flight, and much more. At the 250-seat Planetarium, take a visual joyride through space, swim through a coral reef, or explore a DNA strand. HistoryMiami Museum

Dedicated to exploring and preserving Miami’s own unique history, the HistoryMiami Museum is a fantastic place to learn more about the events and people that have shaped our city. The museum’s current exhibitions include a series of Muhammed Ali photographs chronicling Ali’s training process right here in Miami at 5th Street Gym for what has been dubbed “the fight of the century” against Joe Frazier. Museum of Graffiti

Fittingly located within Miami’s popular street mural-filled Wynwood District, the Museum of Graffiti offers an excellent way to learn more about the fascinating history of this edgy art form. As the world’s first museum dedicated to graffiti art, the museum showcases thousands of graffiti artists and provides an educating history on the evolution of graffiti as art. Check out their latest exhibit on Lady Pink, a pioneering female artist who broke boundaries joining the male-dominated graffiti subculture of NYC in the 1980s.
